2011 Honda Civic Vs 2011 Toyota Corolla

People planning to buy Honda Civic need to consider and alternative – Toyota Corolla. In terms of pricing, capability both cars make an apple to apple comparison. So which one of the 2011 model will you buy , given a choice .
The  Toyota Corolla  is  quieter at highway speeds – this is one definite advantage of Corolla over Honda.  With the recent recalls the Corolla has its image tarnished and the customer and expect some price advantage if the rebate is offered by Toyota. The pricing can be second definite advantage with Corolla.
However you should be careful with the way pricing is shown. Some car manufacturer’s show price of different components separately – like toyota.  Honda on the other hand include most accessory price in its base price.
According to the  Consumer Reports Magazine  “Honda is the most reliable car make in the world”. This may or may not apply to the whole range of the Honda cars. But it definitely gives a stamp to the quality norms followed at Honda.
Performance
The Toyota Corolla can reach 0 to 60 mph in 9.1 seconds while Civic can do the same in 7.7 seconds. So, if performance is the issue you would like to go with Honda Civic.
Mazda3 is another one which you may like to check out if you are considering either Corolla or the Honda.  It new features like MP3 player and heated front seats make it an attractive buy.
