Fujitsu Lifebook TH700 Tablet PC Review

Fujitsu is one of the upcoming companies that are making their name as top manufacturers of mini notebooks and tablet PCs in the market. The Lifebook brand is one of the prime products of Fujitsu that has been well established and has been increasing its line of products continuously thanks to Fujitsu. Recently, another tablet PC has been added to thes Fujitsu’ list of products, by the release of Tablet PC Fujitsu Lifebook TH700. The tablet PC looks quite costly with the price of $1149 but let us take a closer look at the features and the specifications that are offered by a system so that we can say if it is worth the price or not.

The Lifebook TH700 PC has been designed to offer a touch screen interface which is of dual digitizer capacitive type. The touch screen can be operated by using a pen that is used as an input device. The display of the Tablet PC is through a WXGA backlit LED display screen of 12.1 inches, offering a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels to provide great quality display of images and videos.
The processor of the Lifebook TH700 is an Intel i3 -350M core processor which works with a high clock speed of 2.26GHz and performs operations in a fraction of a second. The secondary storage for the PC is provided by a 320 Gigabytes SATA hard disk drive which operates at a speed of 5400 revolutions per minute, offering great data transfer rate. The hard disk is preloaded with Windows 7 Premium operating system for the system to boot.
The graphics of the tablet PC is supported by the Intel HD graphics that is installed within the motherboard of the PC. The system also includes Ambient light sensor technology and DVD writer for Dual layered DVD’s. Two slots have been provided for RAM, each slot being occupied by a 2GB RAM, thus making a total of 4GB main memory. Connectivity to wired networks has been managed by Gigabit Ethernet LAN and wireless connectivity is managed by wi-fi support through the Integrated Atheros XSPAN 802.11 BGN (b/g/n). Bluetooth connectivity is also included in this tablet PC along with an inbuilt webcam of 2 megapixel resolution power. Audio systems are provided by Realtek 269ALC Audio systems that offer high quality audio experience. The audio system includes two Speakers along with two digital microphones.
The Lifebook TH700 tablet PC additionally provides connectivity features for external devices such as flash drives and P&P devices through three USB ports. The tablet PC also has a VGA connector and a HDMI port to connect instruments. Additionally, this system is also integrated with the technology of fingerprint sensor that was included in the previous model of Fujitsu too. The weight of the Tablet PC is about 4.2 lbs and has a standard lithium ion battery capable of providing.
